Auchingarrich Wildlife Center

Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, with a host of different species of animals and loads of activities for children and adults, is less than three miles away.

Do it Outdoors is based at Auchingarrich and offers Archery, Bushcraft and Fly Fishing and various adventure activities.

Blair Drummond Safari Park is about 25 miles away.

Loch Earn, 9 miles to the west, offers all sorts of water sports.


But what if it is raining?

Crieff Visitor Centre offers a fascinating insight into local history, an Art Gallery, Restaurant and Garden Centre as well as being the home of The Caithness Glass Factory where visitors can watch the skilled team of craftsmen and women at work in a studio environment. Children and adults can make their own paperweights and Glass paintings.

The Ceramic Experience, also Muthill Road Crieff, is a paint your own Pottery Studio with soft play area and café.

Why not visit a distillery? The Famous Grouse Experience at Turret Distillery, Scotland's oldest distillery, is only 4 miles away. Set on the banks of the River Turret, The Glenturret Distillery is the spiritual home of The Famous Grouse whisky. Novices and whisky enthusiasts alike will enjoy the distillery tours, seeing the milling, mashing, fermenting and distilling process as well as tasting The Glenturret Highland Single Malt.

Doune Castle (as featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail) is only 20 miles away.

The Library at Innerpeffary, is seven miles away. Discover Scotland’s oldest free public lending library – founded in 1680 and now a world famous museum. Steeped in history from The Romans to the present day: a museum where you can literally touch the past. This year hosting exhibitions on Scottish Golf and The Battle of Bannockburn.
